Let me get back to you about that…
What are your favorite bands or musicians?
Animals as Leaders, Chet Baker, Thank You Scientists, System of a Down, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Eminem, CCR.
Do you have a highlight of your music career so far that you would like to share?
Not one in particular, but playing music to an energetic crowd with your best friends is when I feel the most alive.
Describe your ideal student.
I like students who want to have fun, learn fundamentals. I want my students to take ownership of their own musicianship.
Describe what your students should expect in their first few music lessons.
In the first few lessons I typically use the time to get to know the students, asses where they are in their musical journey. I use that time to develop a plan specific to the student that focuses on what they want out of music lessons.
Why did you want to become a music teacher?
I love music, and I love helping other people fall in love with music. I believe music in its purest form is something every human deserves to participate in.
